Hotel la Pineta

Room 310 is located right under ubnormally resonating condition device located on the roof. Each 5-7 minutes it starts working, and the wholev room becomes a resonating chamber. Not the best place if you want to rest and sleep. Hotel stuff promised to call a technician, so maybe it is already fixed and you will be lucky to sleep in a quietness. Breakfast was poor to me- a lot of sweet pies. C'mon guys, give me some proper omelet and a meet :) But, unfortunately, this kind of breakfast is typical to Italy.

Do not stay here. The worst hotel I've ever experienced. We paid £180/night for a small white box of a room with a balcony...with no air conditioning...in July. My husband complained the day we got there. As long as the doors/windows are shut, and the key card is in the slot, the lowest temperature should be 23. We did everything they said, they told us they fixed it, and yet the temperature would not drop below 28, at times it was over 30, and with a 1 yo with us we could not continue like this. They also told us the temperature readings on the unit were fake, as they use sensors on the windows/doors rather than the actual temperature of the room?! However, we downloaded apps (multiple ones) to take the temperature of the room independently and it was consistently showing over 30 on both apple and android on two different apps on each device which we shared with reception. We also couldn't keep the doors open at night when the temperature dropped slightly as this shut off the air conditioning completely. So we went to reception and explained and they said "the assistant" would fix it. Three times in 2 days. It was never fixed. We finally asked them, if it can't be fixed can you please tell us so we can find another solution, buy a fan, or check out and find another hotel. They did not tell us it wasn't fixed, and we had to chase them again to find out what was going on. When we confronted them they were rude, hostel, and unsympathetic. Once I went down and there was no one at reception, I rang the bell, no answer, after a few minutes of wrangling the 1 yo waiting I followed a hunch and checked the bar next to the hotel and the receptionist was at the bar. He said "the assistant" says its fixed and then 30 min layer the problem comes back up, he confirmed another room on the 3rd floor had the same problem. "The assistant" came into reception (from the bar) they conversed and "the assistant" left. The receptionist continued to do something on the computer and after a few moments I asked what he was doing and he said trying to contact his manager. However a few moments later he had confirmed a booking for another guest but when i inquired he said his manager could not be reached. He said there were no other rooms, he did not have a fan, he could not get me a fan, and there was nowhere for me to get a fan at that hour. Had all of this, or even any of it, been communicated earlier we could have done something. When I said we'll just have to sleep in the lobby as a result he said OK. Absolutely no remorse, no help, no concern. I have never experienced such blatant disregard for other humans let alone from someone in the hospitality business. If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst. Hotel. Ever.

3 star hotel but definitely 5 star experience. Best hotel we ever had. Delicious breakfast every morning, plenty to choose from for every taste. To bad we have to leave tomorrow. We had enjoyed our honeymoon for the past 7 days and definitely we will come back next year here. Thank you for this lovely experience to everyone at hotel la Pineta
